02-08-10 Hans Visiting a Family in Need

On request of Hans J. Schaad, Hans, Khun. New and RCES Secretary Steve Ryser visited a family near Soi 11.

They were living in a very unpleasant dirty single room with no windows or toilet facilities.

Thanks to a friend of RCES they are now living in a small, airy one room apartment.

The Grandmother speaks English and is more than willing to work. We are assisting in finding her suitable employment.

At present she takes good care of her nephew and niece who are 8 and 12 years old. Both are attending school and wish to learn.

This matter will be on the next RCES Board Agenda.

Thank you Hans.

Good News

Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard have agreed to help support this family  and get them back on their feet. This is being done in conjunction with Hans J. Schaad and his friend Rudy.

We have also managed to find Grandma a small job to keep her even more busy .

The Geronjing Family Krasang
Thong & Tuai Geronjing live here in the back woods of Krasang with their son Ramet.
Their home is just a wood and tin shack but like her family it is kept clean and tidy by Tuai.
They had no water or power supply.  With the help of RCES through our member Nittaya
Rottman we now  provide them with food parcels, with a donation from our member Carl,
a water well was drilled and a pump installed plus with a further donation of a bicycle from
Cara our student from Cologne, young Ramet can now  ride instead of walk the long way to
school.
Thank You
Cara
